Milling and Grain magazine is proud to announce its continued growth within the Turkish market. It had doubled the circulation of its Turkish-language edition over the past 12 months, reflecting its continued growth and with over 800 copies being picked up at the recent TUSAF Conference alone.
Turkey is a globally-recognised leader in milling machinery manufacture and Milling and Grain magazine supports the Turkish milling and grain handling industry by publishing in Turkish; as it does in South America with its Spanish edition, in China with its Chinese edition, in Africa and the Middle East with its Arabic and French editions and of course globally with its English edition.
No other magazine supports the Turkish milling and grain handling industry more than Milling and Grain. We are committed to the Turkish milling industry and publish bi-monthly in Turkish in the areas of flour, rice and feed milling providing both local and international reviews.
Today, we engage a number of Turkish translators, within Turkey, to carry out this important task. We have set up and manage our Twitter, blog and websites through Turkish colleagues. In fact, we now print and mail our Turkish-language editions in Turkey! Our commitment to the Turkish industry, to both its suppliers and millers, is second-to-none in the field of industry support.
Professor Dr M. Hikmet Boyacioglu steps down this month as Milling and Grain’s Turkish International Editor. His recent move from Turkey to the American mid-West has made it increasingly difficult for him to lead our magazine’s development in the Turkish market. We wish him well in his new endeavours.
The departure of Professor Hikmet, has inadvertently opened space within the magazine for us to offer a series of Turkish-based industry ‘Guest Editor’ opportunities for those in the industry to express their views on developments over the coming months and years. If you are interested in contributing to your local and International Milling and Grain magazine, please contact me directly and we can continue to show the world that Turkey is not only open for business, it is leading the way in milling innovation and production.
